Hello everyone,
We’re excited to announce the release of Astra v4.11.6 – a refinement-focused update that enhances dark mode behavior, improves accessibility, and resolves several plugin-related conflicts for a smoother site-building experience.
This release continues our mission to deliver a lightweight, accessible, and fully compatible WordPress theme for all types of users.
What’s Improved ?
- Dynamic Dark Mode Support – The live search results background now uses a dynamic color variable, improving visibility and consistency in dark mode environments.
- Landmark Roles for Widgets – Header and footer widget areas now include explicit ARIA roles, providing better landmark structure and improved navigation for assistive technologies.
- Post Type Exclusion Filter – Developers can now exclude specific post types (such as SureForms) from Astra meta key registration using a new filter, helping prevent unnecessary errors.
- Consistent Button Styling – Button styles have been unified across the editor and frontend on fresh setups, making the visual experience more consistent from design to live preview.
What’s Fixed?
- Beaver Themer Quantity Conflict – Resolved a conflict where quantity update buttons in WooCommerce were not functioning properly when used with Beaver Themer.
- WPForms Dark Mode Styling – Fixed an issue where WPForms styling incorrectly applied dark mode CSS when the File Generation option was enabled, ensuring clean and consistent styling.
- WooPack Off-Canvas Cart Layout Conflict – Addressed a layout issue caused by the WooPack Off-Canvas Cart module overlapping with the Beaver Themer header, restoring proper structure and usability.
We recommend updating to Astra 4.11.6 to take advantage of these improvements and ensure maximum compatibility, performance, and accessibility for your website.
As always, if you have any questions or need assistance, our support team is here and happy to help!
Best,
