With Starter Templates plugin you can import single-page templates for home, about, services, blog, contact and much more. In the Starter Templates library, you will see a number of templates with a distinct color scheme, design theme, and layouts. You can mix and match single pages from different templates to make your unique website design.
Importing Free Templates
To import free templates, install plugin Starter Templates from WordPress.org. Here are the detailed steps.
Importing Premium Templates
To import Premium templates, install Premium Starter Templates plugin from your store account. Activate the license. Here are the detailed steps.
Once the required plugin is activated, to import template, follow the steps mentioned below.
Step 1 – Navigate to Appearance > Starter Templates. Choose your preferred page builder.
Step 2 – Browse through the library to find your favorite template. Clicking on it will display all single-page templates.
Step 3 – Choose a page template and click on the “Import Template” button. [See “Get Access!” button? Explained in later parts of the article.]
Step 4 – In case you don’t have the required plugins installed, a popup will display the “Install Required Plugins” message. You can continue the import process and required plugins will be installed, activated automatically.
Step 5 – Once the import process completes you can view the template.
1. Imported single page template will be available in the page list as “Draft”.
2. The imported page will inherit typography, color, layout and button styling from your current theme customizer. So it might look different than the actual demo template.

While browsing the Starter Templates library you might have noticed the PREMIUM tag on some of the templates. These require a Premium Starter Templates plugin which is available with Essential Bundle and Growth Bundle. You can read more about it here.
To import PREMIUM templates, you need to activate your Premium Starter Templates plugin license first. Here’s how you can do it:
Step 1 – If you are using the free plugin or Premium Starter Templates plugin which still hasn’t been activated, when you try to import a “PREMIUM” template it will show the “Get Access!” button (as mentioned above in Step 3 of importing process). Go ahead and click on this button.
Step 2 – You will see an activation popup. You can copy the license key from your store account and paste it into the popup input field. Click the “Activate License” button to activate your Premium Starter Templates plugin license.
Step 3 – Once the license is activated, continue with the import process starting from step 3.
Though we try to use free and non-copyrighted images in all of the starter templates, we cannot take the legal responsibility. We recommend you to replace the images after importing.
