A submenu on a website is a secondary menu that appears when you click or hover over a main menu option, offering more specific navigation choices.
With Astra Pro, you can set animation for the submenus. It adds a style to the menu when the user hovers it.
How to Access Animation Settings?
To access these settings, you have to head to your WordPress dashboard.
- Now, navigate to Astra > Customize to access your customizer.
- Select the Header Builder.
- Here, click on the Primary Menu option.
- You can find all the animations under the Design section.
Submenu Container Animations
When the user hovers over the parent menu, it applies an entry animation to the submenu container. Available animation styles are Slide Down, Slide Up, and Fade. These animations are available for normal as well as the mega menu. Note that mega menu functionality is only available with Astra Pro.
These animations are subtle but make the submenu elegant. Here’s what each of the animations looks like when applied.
Note: The above options will be available with the Astra theme for the primary header. With the Astra Pro Addon plugin, the above options will be available for the Above and Below Header.
